To meet the rising expectations of global clients, Tianjin Yongxin International Trading Co., Ltd. has fully integrated Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology into its steel structure design workflow as of February 2025. The upgrade allows Yongxin to offer precise digital modeling, clash detection, and optimized material use before physical production begins.
BIM integration benefits not only the design phase but also procurement, logistics, and on-site installation. Yongxin’s engineering team can now share real-time model updates with clients and contractors via cloud platforms, reducing communication gaps and costly rework.
“Our clients increasingly demand data transparency and design flexibility,” said the BIM team lead. “This system enables us to visualize every connection, joint, and bolt before a single beam is cut.”
The company has already completed several pilot projects using BIM, including a factory complex in Nigeria and a school campus in Kazakhstan. In 2025, Yongxin will roll out BIM training for its overseas partners and offer model-to-manufacturing support for OEM clients.
