Tianjin Yongxin International Trading Co., Ltd. was recently awarded a provincial-level infrastructure contract to supply steel components for a 160-meter pedestrian and vehicle overpass in western China’s Gansu Province. The contract includes over 1,100 tons of welded H-beams, steel decking, guardrails, and connection assemblies.

The project, led by a top state-owned construction firm, emphasizes local economic revitalization and transport efficiency in rural and semi-urban areas. Yongxin’s role includes structural detailing, fabrication, quality inspection, and coordinated logistics from Tianjin to the mountainous site via rail and road.

The company deployed its QA/QC team to ensure welding standards comply with GB/T and EN norms. All parts were preassembled in the Tianjin plant before delivery to minimize field errors and reduce installation time.

“Participating in domestic public infrastructure deepens our experience and elevates our quality expectations,” said the production director. “It also strengthens our synergy with government and SOE partners.”

The project is scheduled for completion in Q3 2025, with possible future expansion contracts under consideration.
